A School Built Around the Learner
Nadi Tech was founded in Kuala Lumpur with one intention — to make AI development accessible without making it feel rushed.
Back to HomeHow Nadi Tech Came Together
Nadi Tech began with a small gathering — a few engineers and educators who had spent years navigating the AI space and noticed that most learning resources either moved too fast or stayed too theoretical. The gap between "I understand the concept" and "I can actually build something" felt wider than it needed to be.
The school opened in Kuala Lumpur to bring people together in a different kind of learning setting. The name Nadi — meaning pulse or heartbeat in Malay — reflects what the founders wanted: a living, responsive community rather than a static course platform.
Today, Nadi Tech runs three structured tracks covering the full journey from first steps in Python to neural network deployment. Each track is delivered online, in small cohorts, with real feedback and a weekly open clinic where questions of all kinds are welcome.
Our Mission
To offer well-paced, project-grounded AI education where every learner can ask questions, make mistakes, and leave with something they built themselves.
Core Values
- Clarity over complexity — we explain things plainly, not impressively
- Small over large — cohort sizes stay limited so feedback stays personal
- Patience as a standard — in questions, in pacing, and in support
- Building over watching — every track ends with a project you made
The People Behind the Tracks
A small team of practitioners and educators who have each spent years in the field.
Ahmad Razif
Founder & Lead Instructor
A data engineer with a decade of industry experience who started Nadi Tech after mentoring junior developers informally for years and realising it worked better in small groups.
Nurul Laila
ML Curriculum Lead
Nurul designed the Machine Learning Workshop and Deep Learning Pavilion tracks. She brings experience from both research and applied product teams into how she structures the material.
Suriya Krishnan
Student Support & Community
Suriya manages the learner experience — from first enquiries to alumni access. She runs the weekly clinic coordination and keeps the peer spaces thoughtful and useful.
Our Teaching Standards
These are the commitments we hold ourselves to across every track.
Curriculum Review Cycle
Each track is reviewed before every new cohort opens. Content is updated when tools or approaches in the field have meaningfully shifted.
Written Project Feedback
Every project submission receives written notes from an instructor — not an auto-grader. We point to what works and suggest where to go next.
Data Privacy
Student data is used only for enrolment and communication. We do not sell or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Cohort Size Limits
We cap enrolment at each intake. If a cohort is full, we will let you know and give you the option to join the next one rather than squeeze you in.
Session Recording Access
All clinic sessions are recorded. If you miss one or want to revisit a particular explanation, the recording is there for the duration of your track and beyond.
Completion Recognition
Learners who complete a track and submit a project receive a certificate of completion from Nadi Tech — something concrete to reference in a portfolio or application.
AI Education That Moves at Your Pace
Nadi Tech sits at the intersection of practical software development and machine learning education. The school offers learning tracks that span the full range of AI development — from foundational Python scripting and data handling through to training, evaluating, and deploying neural networks.
What makes the approach distinctive is not the curriculum alone, but the delivery model. Each intake runs as a cohort of twelve to fourteen participants, with a dedicated instructor who reviews work and answers questions directly. The weekly clinic creates a regular rhythm — a fixed point in the week where things can be clarified, code can be shared, and the week's material can be placed in a broader context.
For developers in Malaysia and across Southeast Asia who want to enter AI work, or for working engineers looking to deepen their understanding of model architecture and deployment, Nadi Tech offers a path that is structured without being rigid. The pace is deliberate, the feedback is genuine, and the door to the next track is always clearly visible.
The office is in the Chow Kit area of Kuala Lumpur — a neighbourhood with its own long tradition of trade and community. We chose it deliberately. Learning, like any good gathering, works better when it feels grounded in a real place.
